Ellen Armour Stein
Marketing & Development Director
Fresno Philharmonic

Ellen Armour Stein is a native of California's San Joaquin Valley, where she lived until attending UCLA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from the School of Arts & Architecture, and went on to work in project management for the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, Google, Chevron, international consulting firm Turner & Townsend, and TETER Architects & Engineers before landing at the Fresno Philharmonic, where she currently serves as Director of Marketing & Development, developing relationships and marketing best practices for an outstanding non-profit arts organization. Ellen is immediate Past Board President and Marketing Chair for the Fresno Arts Council, Fresno State University's Arts & Humanities Advisory Board (AHAB), and the Better Business Bureau of Central California and the Inland Empire. She is Founder of an independent strategic marketing consultancy, turning brands' chaos into clarity. Ellen is also a classical and electronic pianist, vocalist, and composer of 30+ years and loves sharing the beauty and joy of music with others. Ellen lives in sunny Fresno California with her husband and their two children. 

Connor Bogenreif
Career Advisor & Adjunct Faculty

Connor Bogenreif is a higher education administrator, music educator, and cellist. Connor serves as the Career Advisor for Chapman University's College of Performing Arts where he helps students and alumni in Music, Theatre, and Dance use their training in the performing arts to find success in their career, no matter the field, and no matter what stage they happen to be at in their career. In addition to his work as Career Advisor, Connor is also passionate about education. He serves as a faculty member at Chapman University’s Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music, gives career talks at high schools and colleges, teaches cello students privately, and coaches and adjudicates ensembles at schools and festivals throughout the Southern California area. Connor is an active freelance cellist having performed extensively as an orchestral and chamber musician, as well as a soloist, having performed in venues around the U.S. and Europe. Previously, Connor served as the Manager of Operations and Education at Long Beach Symphony. Connor earned his Master of Music degree from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach, his Bachelor of Music degree from the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music at Chapman University, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education with an emphasis in Leadership Studies from the Attallah College of Educational Studies at Chapman University. 

Jenny Darlington-Person

Music in the Mountains

Jenny Darlington-Person is the Executive Director of Music in the Mountains. Since taking on this role in late 2018, she increased the organization's average annual foundation and government grant giving nearly 400%, raising over $700,000 in under 4 years. Due to her executive leadership skills, especially during the pandemic, she earned the Association of California Symphony Orchestras’ 2022 Executive Leadership Award. Jenny also completed the Essentials in Orchestra Management at the Juilliard School in New York City in the summer of 2022. In February 2023, she graduated from the Center for Nonprofit Leadership’s Executive Director Academy. Jenny was born and raised in Nevada County where she currently lives with her husband and four pets. She has been attending MIM concerts since she was a child in the 1980s and became a member of the Chorus in 2006. In 2000, she earned her juris doctorate with honors, Order of the Coif from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to working for MIM, she practiced law for seventeen years in Nevada, Placer, and surrounding counties. She also taught law school for seven years working at both McGeorge Law School and Lincoln Law School teaching courses in business law; research and writing; and appellate and oral advocacy. 

Dr. Kevin Eberle-Noel
Executive Director
Redlands Symphony

An arts professional with nearly 15 years of performing and administrative experience, Dr. Kevin Eberle-Noel joined the Redlands Symphony Association as Executive Director in 2022. Prior to this position, Kevin was the Education & Community Engagement Manager with Palm Beach Opera, where he led the company's youth outreach programs and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. From 2015-2021, Kevin was the Director of Operations & Education with the Las Vegas Philharmonic where he was responsible for personnel management, Union relations, education and community outreach, DEI, company finance, human resources, and artistic management/planning. While with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Kevin developed and launched the Music Van program, a wildly successful program that brought musical experiences to rural and outlying communities across Southern Nevada. From 2007-2011, Kevin was known as "Mr. Eberle" to K-12 students in music classes in California and Arizona. Kevin is a two-time graduate of the University of Redlands, receiving his Bachelor of Music Education in 2007 and a Master of Music degree in Bassoon Performance from in 2013. Kevin was the first person to receive the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from in Bassoon Performance from UNLV in 2016. Kevin had a fulfilling performance career as an orchestra and commercial bassoonist.

Giuliano Kornberg

Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera

Giuliano Kornberg is the Executive Director for the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera (SP&O), where he oversees all aspects of Sacramento’s premier classical music organization that impacts over 15,000 community members a year through concerts, education programs, and community events. As Executive Director, he has led the successful negotiation of a three-year labor agreement with the Philharmonic & Opera Musicians’ Union; planned and announced the 2023-24 season again featuring five orchestral performances and two operas; has put the SP&O on track to raise $1.33 million in funds, which would be the most ever raised by the SP&O; helped the SP&O sell an average of 1,700 tickets per concert this season, with 2.5 months left in the season; and identified and confirmed Ari Pelto as the SP&O’s next (and first) Artistic Advisor and Principal Conductor.

Paul Meecham
President & CEO
Tucson Symphony

Paul Meecham joined the Tucson Symphony Orchestra as President and CEO in May 2021. After an initial career in music publishing at the London firm of Boosey & Hawkes, he has occupied leadership positions over the last 30 years with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, London Sinfonietta, San Francisco Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, and Utah Symphony & Opera. With Music Director Marin Alsop, he led the Baltimore Symphony (2006-2016) in pursuing innovative strategies to redefine the role of the American orchestra in the 21st century, combining an entrepreneurial spirit with fiscal responsibility. Since joining the TSO, he has launched, in partnership with Music Director José Luis Gomez, ¡Celebración latina!, a new series to engage southern Arizona’s large Hispanic and Latino community, and fostered artistic collaborations with local arts groups including Ballet Tucson and University of AZ School of Dance.
