REGISTRATION

Do you offer a student discount?
Students can attend the conference for $150 and must register before August 4th. On-site student registration is not permitted. Student registrations include an automatic 1-year ACSO membership (valued at $30) good through September 30, 2024 and are available to students with proof of current student status. Subject to availability.

Do you offer a group discount?
If your organization is bringing five or more people to Conference, you are eligible for a 10% discount on all full conference registrations. Contact us at [email protected] for a unique discount code. Please do not have members of the group register until a code has been provided. Cannot be combined with another discount offer. The deadline for group registration is July 28.

Is there a musician discount?
Member orchestras may send one musician free-of-charge. This offer is to encourage participation of musicians; it is not for your conductor, or musicians who serve on your Board of Directors, or fulfill other administrative duties. The free musician must accompany a paid delegate from his/her organization. Offer covers three-day registration only – all separately ticketed events must be paid for in full. You must contact us at [email protected] to register. The deadline for musician registration is August 4.

What is your refund and substitution policy?
Cancellations will be permitted on early registrations only, subject to a $50 processing charge, with written requests received prior to July 28. No refunds will be issued after July 28. Returned checks are subject to a $50 service charge. Substitutions are permitted up to July 28.

Can I bring a guest?
Unregistered guests may attend evening ticketed events by purchasing tickets with a registered delegate. Only registered delegates may attend plenaries and sessions.

Can I register onsite?
If the conference is not sold out, we will accept onsite registrations. However, we encourage you to get your registration in early as space is limited at the conference venue.

Can I attend the conference virtually and will the sessions be sessions recorded or livestreamed?
Sessions will not be livestreamed or accessible virtually. Some keynote speakers may be recorded but this decision will be made at a later date.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Transparent COVID-19 safety protocols are essential to making our 2023 Annual Conference a safe space for us to gather. Our goal is for attendees to know what protocols to expect, feel comfortable gathering, and stay safe and healthy. ACSO will follow the mandates of the CDC, State, City and Venues that may be in place at the time of the Conference. Attendees and speakers will be required to abide by any mandates that may be in place.

As of May 18, 2023, there are currently no safety mandates in place in the State of California, City of Riverside, or any of the venues that we will be using during the Conference. While masking is not required, this is a mask-friendly event and we encourage participants to wear masks as they see fit.

ACSO strongly recommends that all attendees and participants are aware of their own personal health status and take steps recommended by the CDC related to vaccinations prior to attending a conference. If you test positive for COVID-19 within ten days of the start of Conference, please do not come. If you test positive for COVID-19 during Conference, do not attend any additional in-person sessions or functions.

ACSO's COVID-19 policies are subject to change at any time. Should the policy change, we will contact participants. We look forward to safely gathering together soon.
