2023 Annual Conference Ways to Save
ACSO provides a discount on registration to organizations sending groups of five or more, and is highlighting several outside grants below that provide additional opportunities for Conference funding.
Volunteer
ACSO needs volunteers to ensure the conference runs smoothly! Scholarships are available for volunteers. However, opportunities are limited, so spots fill up quickly. Please e-mail Caroline Firman, conference and programs manager, if you would like more information or if you wish to apply.
Group Registration
If your organization is bringing five or more people to Conference, you are eligible for a 10% discount on registration. Contact us at [email protected] for personalized service. The deadline for group registration is August 4, 2023.
Conference Grants
California
Center for Cultural Innovation - Creative Capacity Fund: This grant program provides reimbursement funds to nonprofit organizations and individual artists in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles to enroll in workshops, attend conferences, and to work with consultants and coaches to build administrative and business skills and strengthen the economic sustainability of an organization or arts practice. Applications are due on the 15th of the month with a one-month turnaround. Applications received after the 15th of a given month will be reviewed in the following month's application cycle. Los Angeles County Department of Arts & Culture: Nonprofit arts organizations that receive funding through the LA County Department of Arts & Culture Organizational Grant Program are eligible to apply for scholarship support from the Arts Commission. Please review the Arts Commission’s Professional Development Program guidelines to verify eligibility. Scholarship requests must be received one month prior to the Conference to be considered.
