Awakening of the Earth

Sunday April 21, 2024, 7:00pm

For our Spring concert, we celebrate the changing of the seasons and prepare for Earth Day. We open with “Voices of Spring” in the original version with soprano solo, followed by one of Copland’s best-loved works, the Suite from the ballet Appalachian Spring. Then we travel with Beethoven into the countryside and get caught in a thunderstorm.

The Culver City Symphony Orchestra is led by our new Music Director-Conductor, Clyde Mitchell.
