Orchestra Santa Monica Orchestra Santa Monica presents the first concert of the 2022-2023 season (our tenth anniversary season!) at Barnum Hall on the campus of Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica.
In 2012, Orchestra Santa Monica performed its first concert in Barnum Hall. Ten years later, the orchestra is back in this historic location, celebrating its 10th year bringing exciting, high quality live music to the whole community.
This season-opening concert will feature music from the movie Lincoln, composed by John Williams and the Arutiunian Trumpet Concerto, featuring LA Philharmonic principal trumpet, Thomas Hooten. The orchestra will perform Ravel's arrangement of Mussorgsky's masterpiece of imagination, the Pictures at an Exhibition suite. To mark this anniversary season, tickets to this performance will be free for everyone!
