2024 Annual Conference Ways to Save

As a benefit of membership, we offers discounted rates to our members. We also tier registration rates based on organizational budget size. Special discounts on registration are available to students and member organizations sending groups of five or more, and we encourage every member org to send one musician for free. Click here to learn more about these discounted and special rates.

Additionally, below are other ways to save or find financial support for the ACSO Conference.

Discounts for Conference Volunteers

ACSO is accepting applications for volunteers to help us onsite at conference. Spots are limited and the deadline to submit an application is May 24, 2024. Accepted volunteers will be notified by May 31st.

Volunteers receive a complimentary conference registration for volunteering 8 or more hours or 50% off registration for volunteering 4-7 hours. All additional ticketed events are at an extra cost.  Please do not register for the conference until you have been notified about your volunteer status.

ACSO will try to take preferences into consideration when assigning shifts but cannot guarantee that preferred shifts will be granted. The more limited you are with your volunteering availability, the less likely your application will be accepted.

Eligibility criteria and selection process:

  • You must be an organizational or individual member of ACSO
  • Applicants from small budget organizations (under $500k), first-time attendees, or emerging professionals will be prioritized.
  • Only one volunteer per organization will be accepted.
  • Volunteers will typically not be accepted from the host orchestra(s).
  • Volunteers do not count towards the group rate if the volunteer’s organization is sending a group to the conference.

E-mail Caroline Bamforth, conference and programs manager, if you would like more information.
